"Reel Tunez"

Sundays from 5pm to 6pm

 

 

This show was first produced nearly 30 years ago for the U.S. Air Force base theater at Torrejon Air Base outside of Madrid, Spain.  It was produced by Dan Slentz who, besides working for Armed Forces Radio & TV, worked part-time at the base theater as a projectionist.   Instead of having people sit 15 to 30 minutes waiting in silence for the movie, he produced this "radio show for the theater".

 

"Reel Tunez" revisits the songs that were so integral into making a movie even better.  From songs written just for the movie, to pop songs used in the movies, this show has them all.  The show also includes trivia and some play-along as you listen to trivia questions.
